After your divorce hearing, the Judge will grant your divorce and your Order will be docketed (usually within several days after the hearing) in the clerk’s office.
Your divorce will be final 30 days from the date the divorce Order is docketed in the clerk’s office as long as no appeal is filed within the 30-day period.
However, if you and your spouse both agree, you may file a Waiver of Appeal that will permit your divorce to be final immediately after your divorce Order is signed by the Judge at your hearing.
